At first my journal wasn't friends only, but I've posted links to it in so many places I'm now a bit worried about who is reading my stuff. So, comment and I will probably add you if we have an interest or two in common. :) And, of course, my icons and such are still public.

If you just want to add me so you can watch my icons, I don't mind. I don't add people back, though, unless they comment.

So, I finally got it together and put together a decent batch of icons. We've got some vintage fashion magazines and Beatles icons. I also made a few friends only banners of the Beatles, since people seemed to have liked those.

I don't mind requests on the friends only banners. If you've got a pic that you'd really like to get made into a friends only banner, I don't mind making it. Mind you, I'm not exactly the best at it. :)

My sister took these photos almost a year ago, and I've been meaning to post them for a while somewhere on the Internet, but didn't. So I guess that today is a good day to do it... on LJ. I think I posted my first sewing project on here, but I've sewed quite a lot since then. Anyway, this is only what I sewed from July 2007 (thereabouts) to about March 2008 (that's even more of a guess). I've got about as much that I haven't taken pictures of yet... I'll maybe put that up later.

It's all behind the cut, because its a bunch of really big photos and I don't want to clutter up anyone's friends page.

As I wanted a new layout, I made a top banner (look up ;D) and 12 friends only banners of the Beatles. I'm back on LJ now, probably because it is finals again and I want to distract myself. Hopefully my new layout will be easier to work with, as my old one kept clashing with my icons.

I made these, slightly humourous, Regency icons a couple of days ago, based on fashion plates. Quite happy with them, I suppose.

Some of these icons were made last night, for my journal characters at waxes_nostalgic, and others were made a long time ago, but I forgot to put them up. So, I suppose that I better put them up now rather than wait. I should probably also put up my friends only banner so that others can use it, but I think I'll wait until I have DW icons to go with it.

I find it interesting that I'm Beowulf.

I've needed an icon dump for a while, especially the Doctor Who ones, which I made before Thanksgiving. I made all of the Regency ones last night, when I decided to teach myself textures. It was fun, but maybe I should be a little more restrained in the future. :)

It must be a sign of my obsession that instead of doing normal human activities I made something like this... Anyway, today is a very special day:



So, today will be filled with Keats biography reading, thoughts about Keats, and thinking about the numbers 25 and 211. He would have been two-hundred and eleven today, if anyone is interested in knowing, if the tuberculosis hadn't gotten him! *cries*

A slightly weird Keats fact: I found a mention of him in a dieting handbook that I'm using in my research paper (on obesity). ( Perhaps a quote would be in order? )

Wow, that was a bizarre rant. And, on a less important note, Happy Hallowe'en everyone!

I decided to post this now, because I don't want to have too many when I post next time. I've got some Doctor Who as well, but I think I'll wait until next time to post them, because I've only got a few. Pride & Prejudice icons upcoming as well...
